Recently, there have been many Covid cases of positive infection in our district. The Keqiao District Joint Prevention and Control Headquarters has decided to initiate a level-II response to public health emergencies from 4:00 on May 24, 2022. In order to resolutely block the transmission and effectively curb the spread, the district's leading group for the prevention and control of the pandemic made a unified deployment and organized multiple rounds of nucleic acid testing for all staff.
In order to assist the sub-districts in the nucleic acid testing work and to fight the pandemic at home, JGST has actively dispatched many volunteers to the testing points for several consecutive days from the 23rd to the 25th to contribute to the pandemic prevention. On the afternoon of the 25th, after receiving the support notice from Huashe Street, Wu Haixiang, the general manager of the company, personally directed the deployment, and organized the transfer of a total of 51 employees to form a volunteer team.
The volunteer team received training at the Huashe Street Office at 4:30 a.m. on May 26, and then rushed to 9 different nucleic acid testing sites including Daxizhuang Village, Huashe Village, and Shuangzhou Community to provide volunteer services. At 6 o'clock in the morning, the volunteers carried out various nucleic acid sampling work in an orderly manner at each testing point. After 6 hours of work in a row, although the protective clothing on many volunteers was soaked through, no one complained. An employee at the scene said with emotion: "Although the pandemic has disrupted our life rhythm, now the whole district is working together to fight it, and we will be able to overcome the difficulties together. Do your best."
The pandemic is an order; prevention and control is a responsibility. In the face of the sudden pandemic, the majority of Party members, cadres and young employees stepped forward, quickly assembled, and rushed to the front line as quickly as possible. It has become another vivid silhouette of JGST to carry forward the characters of mutual assistance and serving the society.
